Crew

The motto of Carmen, the all-rounder, and Iñaki, the child of the wind, is simple: Sail, Discover, Enjoy.
Mornings are spent sailing into the sunrise, afternoons exploring a new anchorage, and evenings grilling freshly caught fish on the aft deck as the sun sets. Depending on the day, the order may change – life flows with the rhythm of their bluewater cruiser.

With Iñaki’s many years of experience as a sailing instructor and skipper, they can approach any anchorage safely, even at night. Having spent his first year on a sailboat at the age of eight, seawater has been running through his veins ever since. As co-skipper, Carmen will show you how to make your own fishing lures, practice relaxed freediving, or find the best spots on deck to hang a hammock.

Together, they sail SY Anila with boundless energy along the Pacific coast of Central America into French Polynesia – from one adventure to the next.

Full sails, salt on your skin, and a life in tune with nature – what could be more beautiful?
